Our ministry applies the action of the verb,
ἁρπάζω,
to raid, grab suddenly – in an unannounced surprising way, and remove from – or transform, the environments of Christ’s brothers and sisters who are being treated as the least in our society.

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
Matthew 25: 34-40
For all of us who have followed in Faith, verse seventeen is our great hope. Paul describes here, that we who are living and still around, will be taken up together with them into clouds to be with The Lord forever.
Our ministry desires to honor this great hope by applying our resources as “treasure in heaven” to present to The Lord when he comes:
This verb has encapsulated the hope of The Christian Church since the very beginning. Paul’s use of it in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 describes Christ’s physical return to the planet. To comfort grieving Believers whose loved ones had recently died, Paul reports that upon The Lord’s return, the “dead in Christ” will rise first.
(First-century Believers were convinced that Jesus would return in their lifetime.)
Paul’s announcement was a great comfort to them.
